The brand was first introduced in 1884. In the year of 1917, it produced watches for the German pilots in the First World War and eventually became a brand for the pilots. In the early age of the Second World War, Breitling installed a chronograph in their watches, the first approach to include a chronograph in a wrist watch, for the German pilots.
